So, the weather finally decided to do something here today.
Unimaginatively, it rained. Then having nothing better to do, it rained some more.
Thereafter, displaying a decided lack of artistic creativity, it did a bit more raining.
Finally, seemingly bored with the who!e process the rain buggered off, leaving a surprisingly sunny end to the day.
Still no bloody storm though..
Grumble, jip kipper an skonk

Busy wee day faffing about at the house, nice n sunny too.
Finished replacing a fascia boards & run the new cables in.
Scaffold down & moved to the neighbours as I volunteered to paint her house as she's
in her 80's, Nice to be nice init..
Messed about fitting my nato hitch & getting the sankey bdr trailer sitting level with the disco.
Then had steak dinner an a beer in the sunshine then came in as the sun went down as....

Fairly cloudy here today but at least not raining.
Wifey off to first haircut since lockdown this affo then off to hear some jazz int evening near the Canal du Midi, open air! wonder if it'll rain there? Weather forecast sez "no" so we'll be taking umbrellas, coats and binbags! (€25 a seat, for 2 hours! Glad wifey's paying. To me a lot of jazz is just skilfully played noise.)

Hope so. Twill have done less damage and be easier to fix, might need a borescope wiv a magnet though.
:(
Never encountered this in 50 odd years of motoring, but i know it can happen.
It made bad noises about 30 miles from home. By the time i got home, no noises and was running fine until i stopped on the drive and it started running on 3 cylinders
