Friday is my playing day. I have never regretted going part time, looking forward to finally retiring in a couple of years :)

Wifey just caught a glimpse of this and asked "why's he got a plaster on his steering wheel?" "Is it poorly?" I said it's so he can tell when he is going straight in the dark! who is right? Hmm!

Today's fun in the House of Doom was the resurrection of working toilet facilities (they had run out of carrier bags, bread-bags etc... and the skip was getting a bit "ripe"). But hey, THEY broke the working toilet that was there, not me.
Back wall of downstairs "cloakroom"/Bog was studded out to hide all the pipes etc. and a new high-level cistern was fitted. Works well.
Here's a picture or two of progress so far on the main downstairs room.
Tomorrow we will do all the waste-piping for the upstairs bathroom and run a new branch into the existing soil stack.
Hopefully they can then move in within a week or so.

    He ses:

"...First bandsaw arrived with the motor belt twisted and the drive pulley jammed on the shaft.

The replacement bandsaw was sent (same delivery conditions) with the pulley again at the worng position on the shaft which led to a misaligned and twisted belt, fortunately this time the drive pulley was not jammed and I spend some time aligning the pulley and wheel..."

Got home to find the garage door broke again:mad:
These plastic clips keep breaking so removed them & bolt direct to the door.
Neighbours chuckle as I was working with head torch & grinder sparks

I am right handed but a rifle butt falls naturally to my left shoulder and I draw a bow with my left hand. I wear my watch on the left wrist but with the face on the same side as my palm.
