Sorry to hear this! She looks F off big, very tall. In cubic inches must be about 2 bodys' worth standing up!
Bet you had fun getting it into the room. Unless you have a good straight run to the door. We had to take the doors off the one in France and the handles of the one in the UK and neither of ours is as tall as this one. Sure you'll miss her.
Any chance of an insurance claim on the lost food? Or would it not beat the loading yet still cost you next year in premiums? Insurance: "lending you an unmbrella when it isn't raining then taking it away again when the clouds come over" :(:(:(
This one has to have the doors off to get from front door to kitchen, and the doors & door jamb's in the household doors in-between. According tolthe spec's so will the replacement. What fun that will be! :D:D
No insurance carried for house or contents.

You poor sod! Sure you don't want to get it regassed and/or checked over for a new pump? Think I would! Fridges are or used to be the longest lived domestic white goods. Apart from the compressor and seals so little to go wrong.
We have never had one go yet. But dishwashers and washing machines come and go like the wind! Always seem to be fixing the blighters! Dishwasher in France, only 12 years old and only used half the year now, before even less, only works cos we feed it hot water from the solar heated tank. Thought it was a condenser on the Circuit board, turns out it wasn't so must be the element. CBA to drag it out and fix it! Works OK, especially if you crack the door open once it has finished as it is only the drying that isn't as good as it could be!;)
No house insurance, so you risk fire, flood, subsidence etc? Braver man than me!

Probably more "foolhardy" than brave. Just got fed up of the price hikes without any claims being made and the stupidity of their "in-house" repair people inflating repair costs on the 1 time I did claim. I got the job done to my satisfaction for 25% of their "approved repair agents quote".

Eye was talkin ter er fire person a wile ago about peeps avvin no insurance when I got me castle. Eye have contents un building. But a surprisin percent av non. He's bin ter many fires where the owner as non un the ouse is neer guttid. There was a program ont telly where the camera's wur followin the fire peeps. 5 or 6 bed ouse ont fire. Ruf cort fire anorl. Once that apppens they struggul ter purrit oat as access is difficult un it spreds qwik. Sqert frew loft ach or brayk frew ruf tiles un sqwert. Hence why access be difficult. Fire peep mayks er comment not to worry the insurance will rebuild it. Then reel'eye'ses from the owners face he be not cuvverd. Owch.

Having been burgled twice, broken into once and vandalised once in France, (only made one claim) we wouldn't dream of being without it. Mind you, when you leave a house empty for 6 months you do worry about it. Luckily we have fab neighbours who keep an eye out and park cars on the drive when we are not there. (In UK).

Lucky you! Thunder. lightning, showers, sometimes brief but heavy at times.:(
Enjoy the good weather whilst you can.:)
But it’s too hot to sleep & I can’t have my windows open.im next to avimore now but going south later
