I would just like to say

I've just returned from the vet after updating my 'big' dog's Rabies and annual Booster vacs. I was the only one allowed into the surgery - ???????????????? Either he didn't trust my dog who he knows very well, or he knew he would never part the dog from me, or it could have been all the chip checking and necessary paperwork.

Your lucky to get in. Mrs hands the dog over then they come out after and update you in the car park.

They've all got used to being paid for doing no work! It is hard to accept the re-start.

Saw my first "new" defender today..

Almost parked on top of it after the clueless cow pulling out of Listers didn't look both ways.

It was hideous, and quite small..

In any case, taint a Defender coz they don't make em no more. Is no more a Defender than a F35 is a.. Oh I dunno.. Let's say Harrier.. You knows whut I mean.

All is OK-ish.
No open-warfare. Apologies have been made/accepted and we are moving forwards.
I realise its as hard for them (living in someone else's house) as it is for me to have "invaders".
I suspect it will be another 2 or 3 more weeks (minimum) before they can move into their new place.

Why didn't they wash the tratter at the end?

Is more the spirit of the original is missing. I may be luddite, but I doubt we'll see many of em on farms..
