I picked them up from hospital at 3:30 this afternoon and spent most of the time teaching her dad the little tricks for 'burping', checking the nappy, changing and getting them to sleep ...
Once her Mum had given her lunch she went for a nap, Dad and I sat and did the 'this is what you do' stuff ...
She is an adorable little bundle, but by God she can eat ...

Had a Defender delivered today, needs a clutch...
Alright i say to the chap over the phone..
Car gets here and it aired out sufficiently, i go with all me gear on, forgetting how the defender is designed for midgets and upon climbing in, smack my head on the side of the roof, even cutted myself open!!

Did me wukin oat terday fer dor size. Ah cut the long bits ov the frame un the cros bits. Ah realeyesd me cros bits cant go ut end ov door as inge be biggerer so cros bit aster go a bit inwuds. Eye also adda nuvva gow ut maykin er smorl slid fer me taybul sor as the bigga won dunt slid propper. It be glud tova nite un dryin. Used me playn ah bortid last yer ter fikness the runnas un it be gud. Not got far wivvit but eye also eated for crumpets un as twelv left.
