Morning All :D
Lovely day AGAIN, :)
No paper for her today she wants to go to the butchers so she told me not to.
I had fun in my workshop yesterday and made a "Super-Granny-Gear" (no, not a dress with a cape) for the trike to help ease the strain on these old knees of mine. :p
Got a nice surprise this morning when the scales declared 12-9-6. It means this time next week I should weight the same as I did in 1999.
Have a lovely day, whatever it is you are doing today.

@DanClarke go on what is the granny gear ratio?
Mountain bikes now running 50tooth on rear unsure what’s on the front. IF I can walk quicker up hill than peddle I will(cyclo cross style)
Wow! 50T on the rear cluster is too big for a 20" wheel (almost 1/2 the size of the wheel itself) :D
For me on these little wheels and with an 8-Speed Sturmey-Archer internal gear hub and therefore one sprocket I have to resort to tricks.
I have welded a 34T chainring from a triple chain-set to a 25T Sturmey-Archer sprocket (see picture); this gives me a gear range from <13 Gear-inches up to 74 Gear inches instead of 18" ... 109" so lower geared for ruined knees. :)
