Again, millions of thank you's from our little Scout group, including the kids who don't actually know of this donation yet - can't wait to see their faces when we hike them up to 'our' fire pit and pitch one of the new tents and have a bit of a whittling session with the knives that we settled on with the remaining donation.

I'm simply pleased we can do something that will make a lasting difference and I think cub scout group is one of the few things children from all backgrounds can have common interests and goals.

Been an absolute pleasure and I only wait Fiona's call to arrange delivery to scouts.

Fanny told Doris's Father about your fund raising efforts for the Scouts this AM in our daily talks. So George and June have said here is some more for the kids. Buy another knife or 2

I've just found the following on Amazon on the add-on scheme - there's 5 of each in stock, so its just a case of adding a few little 'amazon fulfilled' bits to tip it over the tenner for free delivery. I'll bung the odd to tip it over shortly.

rubber mallet for tent pegs??????????? Steel would be better or even a wooden mallet, which they could make for a craft project
 
Just had Steve D who kindly offered me a tent pondering on getting it to me.

I'm meeting Mad hat Man on August 9th, he a Basingstoker, so if anyone can LZ courier from Steve D to MHM (who I'm hoping will be half way holder ;D ) That'd be fabadooberry.

Will also chuck a threadlet in LZ courierage area anorl.
 
I think the amazon stuff comes to about that if it 5 of each item.

The mallets are obvious, but the bowls will allow us to retire some of the older tattier bowls we have.
