Freelander 1 I solved one problem, and need to share with you

About 2 days i founded when i hit brake, dashboard lights work
So i searched in internet and founded one brake light not working
I solved this problem cleaning socket by polished paper and fix new light
Now all worked

Maybe this information very old, but i need to sharing what's happened with me?
