I have a few problems

You got the Loss of power fixed low you cleaned the inlet manifold?

I know mate tell me about it, tbh if you own a defender or discovery and are a nob you'll get on fine here but if you got a freelander no one cares, look at my sticker thread, I've given up on here now cos people get treated like ****.
The FFOC was a good community like the CIVINFO.

Thanks for the reply James, I still have problems, I have changed the turbo vacuum control actuator, I have a new MAP sensor to fit Im also getting a new Bosh MAF, Ill be ordering a new cam sensor and im hopint it will solve the starting issue and if that doesnt work ill be selling it. lol

Talking to a mate, thinks you got a weeping injector that's what's causing poor starting and could possibly be causing the lack of power cos your over fuelling.

Try taking the injectors off and soak in redex and make sure the orings are clean and intact when putting back on.
 
I have changed 3 of the injectors and i get no spill back, I was going to get some Forte injector cleaner just to put through the system.

Its all go,, lol

You need to give us a chance to respond. You’ve started quite a complex fred. Many different questions across many different topics. Some topics like the brake light and 3 amigo’s have bin covered many times. Splitting it up a bit would have helped.

Peeps asking questions are reliant on others for answers. Not everyone logs in daily, or reads every post. You need someone to read yours who knows the answers. Or at least can point you in the right direction.

Having criticized the speed of response to your questions, I assume as you build up knowledge on your Freelander you’ll commit some of your free time to help others on ere? We'll see.

Thanks for your responce and your warm welcome, I do know some bits and bobs about engines and how things work, After 10 years or roadracing, Off roading, Kart racing and over 2000 posts on civinfo owning a supercharged 340bhp Type R, I would be more than happy to share what little I know if it would help.

, I didnt join the forum for somone to come at me with sarcastic quips, I got a wife for that :)
 
If yer come on ere moaning we int quick enough ta fix yer motor, then eggspect the locals to be upset. Having considered yer knowledge I would have thought all 5 of yer questions would have been simple fixes?

Wiv all yer knowledge of supercharged motors, un many years of orf roading, the mind boggles as ta why yer bought a Freelander. :doh:

I think the proplem is you to$$ers dont know enough yourselfs to help out, all you can do is troll around pi$$ing up each others backs "Look how clever I am I told him".

If there is any decend mods on this forum it might be a good idea to close this thread before the girls drop there handbags and really show how stupid they can be.

Its a shame decent forum spoilt by Pricks !

Thanks for the message, I dont know how things work on this forum, On ours you pay a tenner, you get a sticker and it helps the forum run, I would have been more than happy to do that.
Maybe these boys do know there stuff but I would rather chew my toes off than attemp to extract any sort of help from them.

They say easy fixes for my problems eh, I have changed 3 Injectors, Just got a Lucas MAF, just changed the MAP sensor, EGR baypass, Turbo Actuator vacuum controler, cam sensor and rear fuel filter. I have also cleaned out my inlet manifold and checked the operation of the turbo actuator so I know the veins arnt seized. I still have poor starting and the turbo isnt spooling up like it should so dont think I have come on here looking for cheap advice and free fixes.

Like they say all easy fixes eh !
