I drove into a marsh and now can't get out.

What I really need if anyone can lend them is some recovery straps and shackles as I don't know where to get them from locally. She needs to be out tomorrow really as then the rain is coming back

If you want to meet me 1/2 way you can borrow all my ropes/shackles etc
 
I'd be inclined to tie rope around the tyres snow chain style and drive it out ;)

or a lot of spade work :(

I have acquaintances in the area but not sure how willing they would be to help :(
 
the hilift will act as a winch. Ratty used his to pull a stuck shogun, out of a much worst situation than that. Shackle & strop or HD rope thru the end of the hilift then fasten to the towhitch of l200 2nd rope/chain fixed to moveable jaw then fastened to 90. Use the jack as per normal as the jaw moves up the jack it will pull the 90 backwards Chain is better as it's easier to adjust once you've used the full length of the jack. but rope will do it.
 
I cant believe out of all the peeps on here, that no one is willing to give her a hand getting it out, there must be someone nearby

Crisis solved. Big thanks to RichP for helping me get it out. Second farm jack, more rubble and going backwards instead of forwards and she drove out again.

:)

Knowing that you have been extracated from the bog pleases me greatly. I am just so sorry that I was useless to you. I have been thinking of your plight constantly.
 
To be honest with a bit of know how she actually came out pretty easily. We jacked all four wheels and placed rubble under the tyres. I then used low range reverse and fairly low revs to get her moving, before gradually building up revs and speed to get the hell out of the marsh before she sunk again. All in all with the work I did yesterday to start freeing her I think it took us about 90mins at most.
