Not a defender no, but I have a mate whose dad was a borehole driller in the 60/70/80's and used various series vehicles either with drills on trailers or one with a back mounted like this for less accessible places

Tremendous.
I know where that is. We were sat outside a cafe on a roundabout there when a pick up came past with a big horse standing in the back

The horse was leaning from side to side, to cope with the bends, as it went around the roundabout. Unbelievable!

I could make a bet...you never used your Defender this way!
