Husbanding/ Managing vehicle electrics?

Key off, batt isolation engaged, lights etc die the moment i turn the key off anyway.

like the OP here, I have always let the motor idle for a few minuets after I have stopped,all lectric powered bits & bobs (he`s gays anyway) off, just letting the turbo and alternator cool a little.
In the very hottest of days, If I can coast in nutral before I stop I do that also, as all that unspent energy (heat) in your engine needs somewhere to go once you have stopped.
