Just joined thought I would say Hullo. Just bought a TD4 Freelander and looking forward to tinkering with it. Is that legal??? LOL

It won't go up hills you know...but that int just the red uns with them! Not so great on the flat either

Yel be commited and ****ed off wif it fallin to bits.

It wernt legal the bastoord wat made it shud have been castratud. It's been said that it shud never have had a landrover badge on it. Lada maybee, infact the lada 4x4 woz probably better.

Welcome to the mad oose. I have the pain in the ass wonderfull freelander to. It is typically Land Rover despite what everyone says.
It just a slightly more improved cock up. It doesnt leave oil on your drive (all land rovers). The cv joints dont grind or leak (discovery). It doesnt overheat( discovery). gear linkage comes loose(series three). These all common faults on the earlier less fortunate designs.
Come on ~all land rovers are crap but at the same time wonderful to own as they can do just about most things it's asked of when its prepped for it. Typically British. Have fun. Check out the Freelander section.
