yea i bought em on 15" with the intention of putting em on my 15" wheels.why is it such a bad idea using adapters and the like then, no u wont offend me sean, esp with a squashed up vehicle like a deffender

Will, like most other have have said, due to the way the Viscous Coupling works if you attempted to put spacer's on you would screw the IRD. However the wife has a TD4 and I drive a defender and whilst off road i would win hands down, I you drive a reliable hippo they can surprise you in what they can do.

thanks for that, just done my research in what you said and the ird aint something that wants putting at risk. i guess the damage would occurs because of the weight distribution, is that correct? am sure you defender boys would win hands down but the bull noes is perfect for my job.:D
gonna put the tyres on my rims or buy some new steelys if they're too wide.
