hi to you all help needed again i was talking to a friend about my gas conversion and he told me that i would need some new leads and chip the ecu for the gas conversin to work correctly.
i was told that there are some special core leads on the market could some one recommend some of them and tell me if this is true about chipping my 4.6 hse

hiya the leads your talking about are called magnacor leads , you can do a search on ebay for them and get them at resonable money , the chip how ever you wont need , well mine does`nt anyway if its a multipoint system and its set up properly it should run fine without the need of a chip :confused: .
the leads though will be a good upgrade they made a huge difference to mine hope this helps.

thanks for the advice.you have saved me time and money the chip i was quoted was £650.00 and the leads just bought then for £75.00.
the lpg system i am fitting is called prins multipoint injection have you heard of them

i have a tatarini (i think) lpg system, multi point and magnecor leads (£80 ebay) i cant see why you would need a chip upgrade as the lpg system has its own ecu! it wont use the existing!
a word of advice, renew the plugs every 3-4k miles and regap to 0.7mm
