HSE Seats ?

Hi I’ve just bought a 2002 HSE range rover and there seems to be a problem with the heated seats.
When you push the seat button the seat light flashes and then goes out. Did the HSE come with front heated seats and if so can someone advise me of a possible cause /fix ?

Do a search. The heating elements are a regular failure item, the wires break in the seat. Cheap enough to replace but a bugger of a job getting the seat skin off. Not worth doing IMO unless you want to cultivate piles.

Ive got heated seats and never used them cos by the time theyve warmed up my arse has done the job anyway

thats a pointless post rasheed,just upping your post count? Andy vash,if your handy with a mulit meter and a soldering iron then the elements are repairable.When you have stripped the seat back to the element,the breaks are usually in the areas,where the fat arses put most stress on the element.Hope this helps
