hi all, new to the forum just about to purchase a 2004 HSE freelander TD4! :)

i have a question which was hoping sombody in here can shed some light on for me, with it being the HSE it has the harman kardon system but if i change the headunit so i can have my bluetooth and ipod kit using the iso adaptor would i loose the AMP?? really stuck and pondering on what to do.

thanks in advance!

Mine is an early 2003 so might be different but is also a HK.

The standard head unit could drive speakers without the amp as does any replacement unit. The feed to the amp is speaker level signals so my Pioneer still feed to the inputs of the amp, the speakers are connected directly to the amp. If you have stearing column controls have a look at this.

Hope this helps!
