Hello i have recently bought a 04 plate disco 2, which now seems to be developing probs which you can hear about in time. I spend most of the week away driving a lorry which limits my driving time. Rubbish. Dad has a 200 tdi defender which im trying to convince him to let me start modifying it, he keeps tellin me it needs a new chassis, is it much of a job to change or can we carry on patching it? cheers.

welcome to landyzone.:)

A chassis change isn't exactly a 5 minute job. You might aswell change the bulkhead while you are at it. By the time you have bought all the nuts, bolts and clips that you break or are rusted expect the cost to rise too.;)
