Obviously new to the site. Not as of yet a Landrover owner.
I'm looking into buying either an older Disco or Defender 90 with the sole intention of using it for Green laning and off road use.
Last week I purchased a new 2.0l 4motion VW Tiguan and stared me off thinking and wishing that I also had another vehicle that truly is a capable 4x4.
In going to set myself an initial budget of £800 to pick up a project Landrover and then a timing of 6 months (the summer) to have it MOT'd and usable.
Although I work supplying JLR wheels now, I used to prep classic rally cars for my first job out of college so I am mechanically competent. Still I don't know everything and rest assured I'll need guidance from the forum.
