how to test a 02 sensor?

anyone no how to test a 02sensor? if ohms what should it read? and done hot or cold?

Yes its possible to test an O2 sensor with a DMM. However it is also very easy to damage the O2 sensor is you don't have the meter on the correct setting. Basically you need to test the resistance of the O2 heater. To do this the meter applies a small voltage, measuring what comes back. However the O2 cell must be tested with the meter on Volts, NOT Ohms. If you test the O2 cell with the meter on Ohms, the O2 cell will be destroyed.
