Why are you shouting though?

To answer your question: You can't do anything if the vehicle is immobilised cos nanocom(or any other tool) can't talk to immobilised BCU, you have to remoblise it with EKA then program it or fit one which is not immobilised. After the swap in engine menu - Utility - learn security code then addapt all the BCU settings to suit the vehicle's equipments

nanocom user guides here https://www.nanocom-diagnostics.com/downloads

Hi thanks for the info i dont think it is imobilzed it starts and runs for a second or two and then stops and you have to lock doors and unlock and then it will start and then stop again we have tried with the eka code but just does the same thing which pins on bcu to ecu would you check for contanuity as i think this may be the problem thanks Col.

In your first post you said it's immobiliser issue so is the title of the thread now you say it's not, the symptom is like when the engine ECU fails into "no code" status, i thought i explained that to you in private... go with nanocom into the engine ECU - Utility and check it's security status,

i say again
If a vehicle stalls immediately after starting it is possible that it has been immobilised. This means either:
l The ECM was configured as 'No Code' but the ECM is receiving a code at its alarm input pin.
l The ECM received an incorrect code.
l The ECM was expecting a security code but did not receive one at its alarm input pin.

ok will do that this afternoon when get back from work tried quickly the other night but could not get into the ecu only bcu and every thing seemed ok in there thank you col.

If nanocom doesnt comunicate with the ECM and it does that trick you described then it's probably fubar and you need another

ok just an update got nanocom out again this afternoon and managed to get into ecu and it says ecu imobilized does that meen it is caput look forward to your replies thank you .

Make it learn the security code eventually go into BCU trasm/lock warn and set alarm to "not fitted" then start the engine

Hi i have followed your instructions it learns security code no problem then went to set alarm to not fitted and started engine just the same 2 second run do you think it is not getting the signal from the BCU to the ECU IF SO WHICH WIRES SHOULD I BE CHECKING FOR CONTINUITY THANKS.
