Discovery td5 2005 Hi I had a new battery and alternator fitted the car decided it was not going to work after this, after paying for the emergency key code and using it I'm able to use the car, however the remote on the keys won't work I've had new battery put in one before this all happened and it was working fine. Please can anyone tell me what to do to get remotes working thank you

I thought the last D2's were 2004, so shirly a 2005 model would be a D3 (but without the TD5 engine)

No idea. But I don't think D3s had Td5s. If she posts in the Disco section somebody will know.

My D2 has a TD5.
Maybe it is a D2 but she only bought it in 2005
Sorry. I meant D3s. All diesel D2s had Td5s.

There was an 05 plate discovery 2 for sale on the bay last week. First time i had seen one with that late registration.
It it's like the Freelander, then you press the lock button 5 times in short succession, to synchronise the alarm system. It's in the owners handbook I'm sure.
Must be a D2, as a D3 doesn't have an access code.
