How to ID a 99+ MY and 4 wheel TCS?

I'm fairly sure that 4 wheel TCS only became available for the p38a from 1999 onwards.

Does anyone know a good way to ID a 99MY and to confirm if it has 4 wheel TCS? Did any post 99MY variants not include 4 wheel TCS?

Brake booster STC2778 2 wheel traction. Brake booster SXC100010 4 wheel. Also different ECU. If you know someone with a Nanocom Wabco C is 2 wheel. Wabco D is 4 wheel. It will only read the ECU of the system fitted.

Would not have said so without looking for part numbers. Easiest is with diag two will be listed Wabco C and Wabco D the diag will only read the one fitted. If your VIN number is XA410482 or better it should have 4 wheel TC. There is another unit available other than the 4 wheel SXC100010 and 2 wheel STC2778 that is STC2779 ABS WITHOUT TC. But that was only fitted to real poverty models in the early days i think.
 
4 wheel traction control was standard on all models from MY99 onwards.

So, if you have a MY99 onwards car, you have 4 wheel TC.

Do you have a petrol one? If it's got a Thor engine,

I'm not sure what the obvious details of a MY99 diesel are I'm afraid.

Easy way to tell is to look at the ABS ecu, if its plain alloy its pre 4 wheel.(Never goes wrong) If its a black ecu its the 99 on 4 wheel TC rubbish...
