Hello I was trying to change fuel filter today but was having trouble reaching it, hard to see it except from an angle and i could feel with hands.

I watched youtube and the guy said its 3x10mm bolts holding it, 2 were missing below it so only one holding it on top but to reach do i remove line for fuel pump? The one with 2 small hose clamps attached to it.

Thanks

Have you unbolted the whole pump/filter carrier from the arch?
Once you have that done, it’s relatively simple and you can see what needs to be done, but can be tricky on the fingers.

All the lines are push-fit

No the the two bolts on the bottom that were supposed to be there were missing and the last one i can feel but hard to reach which is behind the pump on the left side.

Also the previous owner may have damaged some parts as it had a couple of zip ties between pump/filter and do you know what the red hanging cable is for? I found it such when i opened up

Hi, as @Freddie17 says that is an earth lead & fits on a tab that slots down between the filter & plastic housing, see pic, the earth tab is available as a separate part about £2 (without looking) when I changed mine.
