How to clean connector blocks?

Hi all

looking around my P38 engine bay I've noticed that some of the electrical connector blocks are showing signs of corrosion (white deposits where the wires enter/exit).
Would like to split the connectors and give them a good clean, just incase the corrosion has entered.
Had a look at the RS catalogue, and there seems a miriad of different types of cleaner.
Any body got a brand or cleaner they would recommend for this?

take em apart and spray em with wd40 or equiv. re-mate and disconnect 10 or so times, smear em with vaseline and reconnect. check all the systems work ok.

Just give them a good soaking with WD40. That'll fettle 'em. Does for me anyway.
