my foot goes down about 1 1/2 inches before the it engages. how much is normal and is it supposed to be like this? 
how much play is normal in accelerator linkages?

Mine doesnt do that infact I think there is very little travel until things happen.

mine is a leaking seal on the diff input, new window tracks, fix the throttle play and some new tires
doing the throttle now as I have access to parts

finished adjusting the accelerator, its WAY better, my driving seems better, gear changes are smoother and the throttle control is amazing compared to before.
