How much paint?

Hi all, soon to paint my s3 commercial, question is how much paint will i need?
I need to get it all at once as i cant get it locally.
I will be changing the colour back to original from grey all over.
So limestone for top and roof and wheels, marine blue for the rest.

Thinking 3 coats should do it, so will get enough for 4!
Will 2L of each do it?

was going to get from paddocks at about £10 a tin, unless someone recommends better?

4 litres and 3 coats!!! Blimey.

Try 2 litres and 2 coats...and homebase!

that paint from paddock's is synthetic and goes a long way, especially if you are spraying it on, i would say you can do the top and sides with 1 ltre, and bottom should take about 2 ltres

if it was just a freshen up of the colour then it would be less coats, but with a colour change im expecting at least three to cover the grey with limestone. will be sprayed too!
a previous owner did a homebase job, its awful, he painted around stickers, painted all the galv bits and some comes off every time its power washed! will be a bigger job preping than painting.

2 litres of each is what I would order, lets face it even if you have 3/4 of a tin of each colour left it will come in for touching up in future. Also the paddocks paint seemed very good when I used it on mine.

yes it is good paint and what good value, i have just bought 1litre of limestone and 1 litre of pastel green to do my carawagon, and hoping this will do it, be carefull when applying it, just give light coats, or you will get loads of runs, takes quite a while to dry

thanks for that, will get 2 of each as i have some interior to do and the wheels.

Did mine, 2 coats outside only with a 4 inch roller, just over a litre, but wasn't a colour change....

Just out of interest have you got any pics of it in the grey? Have been considering it for mine
