Got mine in 2016 as a project , 2006 D3 TDV6 auto , 99,000 miles , 7 x seats , paid 2k and spent another 2k

Like many of us , lost count with the amount of time and effort into getting it in good working order , had to virtually tear the thing apart to sort out previous bodges

My favourite landy so far ,:D

very nice truck that is G.. ;)

I paid £1000 for my 1994 90 truck cab in 2001. It's since had a galvanised chassis fitted followed by a new bulkhead. I then got another 1994 90 truck cab for diddly squat in 2013 with I also fitted a galvanised chassis to. Then painted. Then changed to a soft top.

Its never going to fit in that dinghy you know :)

No, I barely did myself! .. but we did get it out .. ;)

We just couldn't manage to fix it, causing a couple of wiring fires along the way, eventually scrapped after everything decent (basically the whole drive train including engine) was swapped to the 90 after much fettling and fixing .. :)

Love the 90, looks purposeful but like, oem+

300tdi disco
300tdi 110 csw
101FC

all purchased with current MOTs (not sure if the 110s was worth the paper it was written on though!)

the most i paid was £2k, the least £1k

S3 109 Flat Deck
Nissan ED33 was already swapped into it
Paid $1500 NZD near the end of 2015
Most expensive thing done so far was doing the head gasket and water pump on the Nissan engine - $3800 :-|

I paid £4500 in 2017 for my 90 which is g reg.
It has a galvanised chassis (poorly painted)
Full exmoor trim interior (needed a good clean)
Nas rear step
Nice 200tdi engine
Kbx front grill & light surrounds
Led lights in front bumper

I bought it knowing i was going to strip and rebuild it with a v8
I drove it around for a while which put a big smile on my face!

paid 3.7k two year ago for my 90 H REG new doors and hinge new wings and new back panels all primed spent 18 months looking for a decent one it came with a rhino roof rack . the mechanic who came with me said as we drove away " he has just given that away" I love it to bits best motor I've ever owned

Paid far too much for my 90 that turned out to have a gearbox who’s internals resembled a box of rusty shreddies, a chassis with more rust than a fisherman’s pen knife and a seemingly endless amount of leaking seams. They say your first Land Rover is your worst. Still it got me across India. I’d happily do it all again.

£8.5k for my old 90, in hindsight was worth more like £7k (in yesteryears prices) but I sold it for £13k so happy days.

£12k for an 04 XS DCPU, 90k 1 previous owner.

Im not saying how much ive spent since. :p

Series III - Paid £900, spent nothing, a year later sold it for £900 :D
D1 - Paid £5000, spent about £3000 and sold it 4 years later for £850
D2 - Paid £5000, spent about £1500 (so far!) and 4 years later I've still got it with no intention of selling it. :)

1987 Range Rover paid £25,000 sold for £3250 after10 years with a full service history from the main dealer.
1997 Discovery paid £32,000 still owned , only mechanical failure water pump bearing and viscous fan bearing. Now DIY service, plus once by an independent after the first five years with a main dealer.

£6600 for my 05' 110 TD5 last year. Is ex-police povo spec mind.
Got my 200tdi for £2400 back in 2015 but sunk an unholy and irrevocable amount into that :D

Spent the past year trying to work out whats a fair price for one. Still non-the wiser.

In 2003 I paid £800 for a 109 with a Perkins diesel fitted, swapped it 3 months later for a Ford escort lol
In 2013 I paid £1,450 for a 1986 90 n/a and sold it 4 weeks later for £1,750...bad decision that I regret everyday
Last month paid I £600 for my current P38, alternator replacement 1 week into it at £160 then a diy service, need a windshield replacement but it's ordered and waiting just

I paid just over 10K for my 90 for what was, in 2005, the lowest mileage vehicle I had ever owned ever owned.

Since then I've driven nearly 200K rather noisy but almost trouble free miles in all sorts of conditions . If it blows up tomorrow I'll still reckon it was a bargain.
