How much are these tyres worth please

BFG are overpriced, had two brand new ones pop on me as well when greenlaning



Maxxis offer a warranty on the side wall where if you cut them greenlaning they replace or give discount, nice tyre too and good prices, Toyo are excellent on the road if a little expensive but still cheaper than BFG, Insa are cheap but work and the others are well priced, work and wear alright
 
Insa's are very good value for money, also being that worn I wouldnt waste my time sticking them on rims as in the mud they won't work and defeats the object of being mud terrain and won't handle too well on wet roads.

Yup totally agree.

Worn bfg muds not on rims are useless.. will cost more to get them on wheels than what the tyres are worth!


So.. i'll give you a tenner for all 5 inc del :)
 
I personally rate Cooper Discoverer STT's - mainly cus that's what came on the Disco, and i've now got them on the Series and they perform very well for me

I did think about this but as I have the 315 75 16's on there now with the 2" wheel arch extensions on it will look very odd going down to a 235 width tyre.

I would just take the arch extensions off but quite like the look of them on my 90.

So that is the real reason I want to stay with a wider wheel.... so not sure what my other options are???

Thats why was thinking going down to a 285 75 16 as is very little in width difference and will be a 33" tyre instead of a 35".

I did think about a 265 75 16 but think will look lost with the 4" lift lol

Lol to be honest its not too badf at all, perhaps the 315 tyres help a bit, and have also got adjustable panhard rod which did help alot.

This is what worries me if i went to a narrow tyre that is would be like the titanic on the road lol

Want to change from A/T's to M/T's but dont have a big enough budget to buy new :(

So just trying to work out what is best....
