cheers grrrrrrrrrrr........rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr; from the history of the car. which was owned by another green oval nut! its still on the original drive train also, hence the torque convertor humming around 2.200rpm....(that was post if you can find it) I'm quite thankfull. believe me. the engine does make a jigger jiggering on for the first five or ten minutes of start up, cant tell if its the pump or the timing chain guide rails... it does go and ticks over without fault regardless.. touching wood and real wood!!!

Would imagine the chains would be tired at that mileage too so makes sense. Unless someone already did them. What's the EDC trace like at hot tickover?

Reset the clock.

New valley gasket end seals today.

The old ones were really ****ed.

Hopefully that's the end of that leak.

i'd like to keep it, but SWMBO wants something smaller.. she doesn't like the Cayenne as the sloped back makes it difficult to see the rear corners when parking and the pillars block the view, but loves that the range rover has the all round visibility.. like a proper off road vehicle, you can see where the limits are.

here's wife and baby in the cayenne

Well mines 17years old 133k miles not doing to bad me thinks

You're quite right. Mine is 20 years old this year, 135K just ticked over. Passed its MOT yesterday with no advisories.

And it's not the engines fault I over tightened the end seals when I had it apart for the head gaskets.

Mine doesn't look as nice as yours though. Mind you, my kids haven't been in your cars either.....!
