Obviously I know it's wrong but I've been offered two of these in the past and now someone's offered me one in exchange for my truck, tempted just to get back into landy's.
1970 tax exempt Land Rover, Range Rover chassis with coil springs, 110" later Defender body, 300 Tdi engine.
I have checked details out with DVLA and it's a 1970 low mileage Land Rover with MOT history.
There is absolutely nothing from 1970 left other than a V5!
Is this legit and no chance of coming unstuck? will your insurance pay out if you have an accident?
Can you get away with driving one for years and years without hassle? Value, is there any or is it just a gamble owning one.
I'm guessing subjects been done to death but I've not seen one recently, some of you guys might own one, I don't know.
Thoughts please, I do love my truck and have a lot of money tied up in her to risk losing the lot [actually can't afford to lose the lot] but obviously the thought of owning a tax exempt 110" defender did get my interest.
Opinions appreciated
