how hard?

should the radiator hoses on a 200tdi be pretty hard when the enjins hot?
i only ask as i was fiddling in the bay today and and noticed i couldnt compress them..is this right or is there too much pressure there?

I always thought the the rad hoses you should be able to squeeze a little, on my 300 i can.

yes you can onj my 200 tdi, mabye the thermostat has not opened ????

Why change it?

Much easier to test it before you go wasting your money.

Bit of string, kettle and thermometer.... I am sure you can guess the rest

Should have a marking on it saying the temp it meant to open at.
