How hard to remove the ird ??

Hi guys, I have an ird and vcu on order.. How do I remove the ird?? Will it be like removing a gearbox, just unbolt it and remove shafts ??

Thanks for any help as I can't find a how to guide

What colour is it?

What engine/gearbox? v6 is more difficult.

Ha ha!! It's a red freelander, which will probably mean it is the most difficult to change!!

She's a 1998 1.8 5 door, manual. Bought it in readiness for the snow so need to get her sorted.
