How hard is it to remove a Disco body?

I've a scrap Disco 1 I need to shift but it still has useful bits to harvest off it. The near side is accident damaged so nothing is worth saving but the off side wing and doors are fine so I'll probably remove them and I want the running gear too.

Once the doors are off would I be as well just to cut through the bolts holding the body to the chassis. As I'm cutting the shell up anyway?

Cheers,
Paddy

Semtex would be good if you've no neighbours and have no further use for the body... ;)

Or just cut it up in situ with a grinder/stihly...

I have scraped 2 disco's in the past and because i have done them up the garden i striped them down to bare minimum, undone all the mounting bots for the body then put in on the trailer and got the scrap yard to lift the body of with a crane :D:D. and i drove away with the chassis, ( the bit i wanted )

I've blown up (vapourised is closer to the truth) a Series IIa before!! I used to be in the Royal Engineers and one of the Sgt's had and absolutely buggered IIa so we put a couple of Bar Mines (anti tank mines) under it and stuffed PE4 into all the holes in the chassis and then proceeded to make it go bang!!!! There wasn't much left

Cheers
