It appears the more bits I take off my 1988 90 the more depressed I get!!

I have taken off the rear tub to discover it has corroded at all the points it meets the chassis and sills( chassis also knackered see previous threads). I bought a second hand tub to use for the cappings but it now appears that this tub is in mint condition apart from having bent rear wings. I am thinking about buying two new rear wings from Craddocks but I am unsure how easy they will be to fit, they look as though they just fix with rivets Can anyone advise?

Never done it personally.
I had similar problem with my 90 chassis was well rotted, dont let it get ya down because when you finish it and drive it legally for the first time its priceless:D:D

Which bit exactly? The rear corners?
Have a practise on the ****ty one you don't want.
Or just fit that tub and get the other more structural jobs done.
Its not hard to remove the tub at a later date. Just set your self up before hand and use all stainless nuts and bolts and give a bit of a grease and when you eventually come to do it, it will be a breeze:D:D

rear panels un rivet straight forward ,side panels un rivet but also need spot welds drilling out carefully only drill thru outer ,and can be pop riveted back you can by special blind rivets for the job

I admire your positive outlook I prefer to look on the black side and find I am not often dissapointed!

I am determined to complete the project and look forward to the first drive
