I'm about to change the heater core on my RHD P38 to an AUDI A6 core. No more O-Ring leaks. Anyone else done it on a RHD?

I have read a number of posts on Rangerovers.net about the Audi A6 heater core mod.

With the o-rings, the worst that can happen is a steady drip.

The Audi heater core is connected with hoses and jubilee clips INSIDE the car. If a hose flies off behind the dash what are the consequences? ........Boiling hot water spraying everywhere?

The o-rings take 2 to 3 hours to do the first time. The second time round 1 hour maybe.

I think I will stick with o-rings. Haven't long done mine. Should last another 10 years.

+1 on that I have for various reasons had to do mine several times in the last year and can do them in about 30 mins so me too will stick with the o rings
