history help

could any one be able to tell me where i could get more info into the manufacturing history of my truck becuz what ive been able to do is get lost so far ! , going by the chassis number it may be in the first 1000 built not counting the "80ish " built for the launch in sept 89 the engine number only states 27g thats it , on a thin plate on the nsf inner wing is j 0426 L she is v8

depends what make of "TRUCK" it is Seddon & Foden have some real good forums dedicated to them.

Could be anything! might not even be a LR addition. could have been a fleet vehicle at some point in it's life. It may well be an asset tag used for keeping track of repairs & servicing scehdules.

tried to find out more about small plate no luck but must be factory set , as my other disco has same plate but different amount of numbers tho , could be a build plate , have found out engine is original to year of the car so all looks well . thank you redhand ,

I have the painted plate on the inner wing I can't see what is on as the air filter is in the way.
