Series 3 Historic Tax

Yes same with one of my Historic cars that was sorned....
Initially sent v5c to Swansea..they returned it saying I had to tax it first...
Local post office taxed her and THEN sent v5c to Swansea for change to ...

Good to read everything at the DVLA is still so involved!

Rang the DVLA today ready for the 1st April...just write historic in tax class on the log book...take that any your MOT to the PO....they will give you 12mts tax and you get a refund in the post for any months remaining...sounds simple...going tomorrow.

So went down to the Post Office first thing and no problems, we are now historic, been waiting years for this. Very happy.

So did I...they said oh the finished years ago...cant do that now....I though oh here we go.

I explained it started again at 40 years...so he scan my logbook bar code....your right he says...I to came out a happy bunny...good feeling isnt it...and we get a refund on any months left...2 in my case.

Still cant believe I'm tax free at last......
