Hi guys! I need to replace the gaskets at the top of the pump and need to know if I can do this with it in situ.

No. The pump needs removing, and careful cleaning and reassembly with new seals.
To remove the pump, you need the special sprocket retaining tool.

I took the top two parts off and changed the seals. While the pump was still in the car. It was easy and took only an hour. Next time I'll seek advice from a brick! Thanks lads!!
