Hi all

I'm looking to buy a second D2 TD5
It's going to be an all rounder, work chariot, occasional green lane.

i've been looking at engines up to 150000 though i've seen one at 170000.
question is, at that sort of mileage, am I better off getting an auto over a manual ?

although the TD5 is what it is, I was thinking that if got a manual, it would probably need a clutch and flywheel quite soon if it hadn't had one recently ?

I know that if looked after properly the TD5 should be good for 300ish.
What ever I go for, I will take my nanocom and plug it in, but is there anything else I should look for other than the usual engine checks ?

what are your thoughts on engines with this sort of mileage, particularly auto v's manual ?
