i live no Goole in East Yorkshire. I’ve had a good few land rovers over the years. On my first Discovery, it’s a 2 TD5 Auto. Had it 2 years but gust started doing a few bits. It broke the power steering pipes last Sept so it was stood until Xmas when I started to replace said pipes.
Everything was a bugger all bolts and screws ceased or sheered off. Anyway I ended up replacing the pipes aircon radiator and fan. Front springs and shocker bushes. Discs and pads, then found a hole in chassis at the back. So towbar and fuel tank off rear 1/4 chassis fitted along with a home made front of tank x member, new discs and pads. Then scrub down, paint and waxoil rear end. 17 full days work in all. Oh I fitted new stainless mud flap brackets too.
Took it for a well deserved wash, rear sunroof ****ed water in and stopped working so I’m guessing it’s my next job. Also needs remainder of air suspension removing as only the spring have been fitted. I’ll have to have a look on hers about those projects.
Cheers guys looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
