i have posted my problem a few times and had good feedback and help

i decided to strip the thing down
i will post my findings tonight and hope it helps someone
right spanners in hand going to get the gearbox out and hope clutch is the problem ,and the rains arrive bugger wet,dirty,stressed, all the joys of a defender owner
