I'm new on here!

Bought a nice looking metallic dark blue Freelander ES Premium last Summer, which is my first Landy. Seems ok though, apart from a few minor problems (causing headaches!). Bought it for the purpose of towing my jet ski, I was originally after a Nissan X-Trail, as my mate has one for towing his small boat and they seem quite good, but time will tell as to whether I will regret my purchase! So far, only off-roading I have done is one jet ski launch from a beach, but my mates X-Trail seemed to be easier to get through the soft sand as he has a diff-lock switch on that, so that worried me a little! He now wants me to go through some muddy fields etc with him and has told me he will bring his tow rope!

Just put my first post on the Freelander section. :)

Lol they were my initial thoughts and, funnily enough, you're not the first person to have said that to me!

Unfortunately, I have to use this as my main car to commute 25 miles to work in, so fuel economy is quite important and I can't afford to feed a gas-guzzling real 4x4!!
