hi people vacuum pump solutions

hi people, finally got myself a disco the other day, gud motor for price m reg (94) only thing is its got a bit of an engine rattle n you can feel the vibes in the cab, n breaking is like trying to put your foot thro a brick wall.
my mate says it the vacuum pump not working, causing the breaks being solid n most the rattle & vibes.. ???? anyone any ideas?? fitting a new one sat so wish me luck

if it's a 300 engine you can get a refurb kit for the vac pump which is a fraction of the price of a new entire pump

and it's a 10 minute job

What do you get in the kit?

if you take the end off there's 3 "paddles" slotted into the spindle - it's these that wear out usually - Bearmach did them a few months ago

I'll have to get a kit to carry on my truck. Much easier than chasing after a complete pump.

FF003759 is the Famous Four part number for the n/a and 200 pump - am starting to wonder if i dreamt there being one for the 300 now

dunno about that but the chips are on me when i win big - might even splash out on mushy peas all round

ive looked and never found a refub kit for the 300 pump, if you find it again sean please let us know!

was the pump, sorted... cudn't find a refurb kit new one instead
jobs a gud one, i now have breaks.. bonus lol
