hey guys new here.

ive just bought myself a discovery 1995 2.5
no root or rust on her looked at old threads and looked ouut for some of the parts to look for.
the guy took the prop shaft out to make the mpg better is this true?
kind of woried incase he took it out case the front diff is screwed.

I'm no expert... But if you're running it with the diff lock on and the prop shaft off then the uj (or whatever it's called) will still be taking 50% of the power but just spinning in the air... So I wouldn't think it makes it any more economical.

But if there's some magic thingy I don't know about then maybe. My guess would be that he broke his shaft driving like a dope off road, unless he gave it to you!

But I'm wrong, no doubt

new one to me mate, get it back in and check your tbox and diff , then disengage the difflock for a drive, i recon he's hiding summink possibly cv's on front shagged.

thanks. i added up my old jeeps a toyota and a suzuki and now they arent in my folder do u think the addmin dude would have taken it off cause it a toyota and you boys hate them

yeah she is all new bushs and shocks replaced new sils new boot floor new gear box new head new clutch. got her bought straight away wasnt letting her go. thinking of taking the egr valve out give her more power. but the boy had her on kero so im putting on diesel dont liike kero it makes it lumpy and doesnt burn as well at derv
