Hi,
I just picked up a new (to me ) Land Rover Discovery Series 2 GS. Never had one before but, I was strangely drawn to this big blue motor!

It's in decent shape for a 18 yr old. 103k miles on the clock. After buying it I took it to my local 4x4 land rover specialist who checked it over, gave it the thumbs up and has given me a list of things to do.

I've landed here as this forum keeps cropping up in my How do I googles.

:)

The manual fails to tell you that nearly all the old bolts snap ;)
Funny you should say that. I was using another posters guide to install a reversing camera (the guide was great btw, I will comment in that thread) Anyhoo needed to run a wire to earth and found an existing earth strap so decided to run the ground cable to that. I spent more time messing around with the cheesy nut of the earth point than I did with the rest of the install! To be fair that nut is getting on for 20 years old!
