hi, im new to everything!

hi,
my name is grant, i'm from watford.
i have always wanted a 'proper' landy and i seem to of convinced the wife that it would be the best vehicle for us

we love to scuba dive, so we need a 4x4 that wont buckle under the weight of the gear and wont rapidly rot with the sea water.
we also love to take our border collie on long muddy walks.

we currently have a jaguar x-type that is rapidly turning into a banger!!!!


we are both from mechanical backgrounds (motorcycle mechanics) so we want to get an older (tax exempt) landy to fix up.

where do we start??!!

you might be better off with a boat, or a sub, mmm?

ere you getting much of the white stuff over your way yet ? - had 4" over the past hour or so here

If you want something that wont rot around sea water , you probably dont want a land rover!

keep away from discos and rangies if you dont want it to rot away

and defenders and series if yu dont want to replace the chassis and bulkhead.

and a freelander if you want to drive it.
