Hi everyone ! I've decided at long last to take the plunge and buy a L322 Vogue, have hunted around and found two but cant decide on which one
Both are high mileage (they're all my budget will allow) - was hoping for some advice on which one you guys would go for and why?
1. 2003 Vogue - black with grey leather and dark wood - 112K miles but had a brand new engine fitted at 1K ago, full LR service history, everything electric appears to work - there are a couple of scratches but the seller states he will sort these out before any sale, the rear bumper also has two small cracks (you have to look hard) , there are also a few kerb marks on the alloys and two of the tyres will need replacing soon - £8999 with a 3 month warranty
2. 2003 Vogue - Dark blue with Cream leather and light wood, 137K ! full LR history, all appears to work, rear screens in headrests (PS2), light scratching to corner of front bumper (looks like a slightly bent bumper bracket - dealer said he'll fix it), small amount of rust on bottom of the top tailgate section (dealer said he will get the bodyshop to respray), fairly new tyres all round and much better condition wheels, detachable towbar. 3 month warranty £9800
really cant decide - when they're ready for sale they'll both Look in Very good nick.
should I be wary of the one that needed a new engine ? it makes me wonder if the previous owner neglected it? which one would you pick?
