hi i have searched but still need advice please

hi my disco has developed a chirping / cheeping noise, coming from the rear of the engine, it only does it under acceleration but not all the way through the rev range, tried removing altenator belt to rule out belt slip and it still does it, recently changed the cambelt & water pump so i fitted the old water pump to rule that out also, the engine is using no oil, not smoking & pulls well
any ideas guys

I had the same noise on my 200tdi defender and the head gasket had gone at the rear by the bulkhead, it made a squeaking noise as the gasses from the rear cylinder were being squeezed past the gasket!!!!

yup had the same on mine,even sounded like a fart under heavy load

changed the HG and was well
