As some ov yer mite know, i aint been around for a while..
well.. um.. ive been behind bars.. but thats all behind me now, time to
move on, and under my hippo (again)!!:5bbeatdeadhorse5: the alternator decided
to give up, loads of smoke, warning light on, dead battery un all that ****.. from what i gather, its a pig ov a job to do!!

But, hey.. what are gaylanders for!! i dont mind laying in the wet un freezing cold with oil un ****e dropping on me face

Just bin havin a look at takin off the Alternator, but i see theres a speshal
bit o kit, like a leaver, to slacken orf the tenshuner while ya remove the
pully belts..

Do i 'have' to use use it, or can i make do wiff something else!!

Has any of ya took ya belts off, if so, wot did you use!!

You can make do with a longish 24mm combination spanner, just watch it don't slip.
